This provision does not meet requirements
n The childminder does not fully understand the importance of keeping her skills up to date. She has not ensured that she is familiar with changes to requirements or made use of professional development opportunities to help her support children's learning in their next stages of development. Despite this, the childminder has an up-to-date first-aid certificate. n The childminder does not have sufficient understanding of safeguarding issues and child protection procedures. She does not know how to correctly respond if an allegation is made against her or a household member. The childminder has also failed to record individual information for all children that she cares for. n The childminder is unfamiliar with the statutory requirement to provide parents with a written summary of their child's development in the prime areas between the ages of two and three.
p.2
This provision does not meet requirements
There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
