The provision is good
The childminder thinks through the support and resources she offers children, linking these to their interests and inspiring and motivating them successfully. Children have great fun in many captivating activities focused on dinosaurs. They develop their dexterity and physical skills exploring play dough with dinosaur cutters and a range of other materials. They enjoy dinosaur-themed stories and act out scenarios with the toy dinosaurs in the sand. The childminder encourages them to pay attention to details and inspires their observations, piquing their interest and developing their thinking and exploration further. They stay engaged for continued periods and confidently test out their ideas, such as balancing a large toy dinosaur in a hole in the water tray, finding that they can let go and it stays upright.
