Babies settle in well and receive lots of cuddles and reassurance. They hear lots of singing and staff provide good commentary during activities to help them to hear new language. Toddlers have wonderful opportunities to develop their imagination. For instance, they enjoy exploring play dough, and staff successfully introduce the names of different shapes and patterns. This fosters children's language skills and awareness of mathematical concepts. They also eagerly explore paint with rollers and discuss different colours. This helps to enhance their creativity and fine-motor skills.

Staff demonstrate good understanding of how to keep children safe and to protect their welfare. All staff complete regular safeguarding training to keep their knowledge up to date. Staff can identify potential signs that would indicate a child is at risk of harm. They also know the correct procedures to follow to ensure children receive swift help. Leaders ensure recruitment and vetting processes are thorough. This helps to ensure staff working with children are suitable to do so. Staff complete daily risk assessments of the toys and equipment. This helps to reduce potential hazards and risks and helps to keep children safe.
