Safeguarding

Leaders ensure staff have access to a wide range of safeguarding training. Staff have a thorough understanding of the local safeguarding partnership procedures, should they need to refer any concern about children's welfare or the behaviour of a colleague. Leaders have implemented robust procedures to ensure that children are well supervised. For instance, staff deployed in different locations use walkie- talkies to communicate when parents arrive or when children move location. When staff identify potential risks in the spaces used by children, they take immediate action to mitigate these. Staff ensure that children are kept safe when accessing the club's games consoles. The use of consoles is closely supervised and arrangements are in place to ensure children can only access appropriate content.
