strategies to manage children's behaviour. This hinders the opportunities she may provide to help children to develop an awareness of others and to learn right from wrong. n The childminder does not recognise that the learning and development requirements are mandatory for her to meet. She shows she is uninformed about early childhood education. The childminder does not know how to make accurate assessments of children's stages of development and plan for their next steps accordingly. Furthermore, she does not understand the importance of parent partnerships and sharing next steps with parents or schools to aid consistency of care and education across settings. n The childminder is eager to learn and has started to make improvements to her practice through use of professional development opportunities.

This provision does not meet requirements
There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
