Summary of outcome
Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
p.1
Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. On 19 July 2022, we received a notification that this provider was not meeting some of these requirements. On 22 August 2022, we carried out an unannounced regulatory visit. We found that a child had sustained an injury following an accident in the outdoor area. The provider has taken appropriate action to keep children safe in the future. During the visit, we found that the premises were not secure, and significant accidents had not been reported to the relevant agencies. Following this visit, we issued a Notice to Improve to the provider. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
p.1
Summary of outcome
take all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised persons entering the premises
p.1
Summary of outcome
implement the accident and injury policy effectively and ensure they notify local child protection agencies of any serious accident or injury to, or the death of, any child while in their care, and must act on any advice from those agencies.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider submitted a suitable response to Ofsted demonstrating that they had taken suitable measures to address the actions and keep children safe.
