or what action she should take if an allegation is made against her. n The childminder talks passionately about caring for children and the importance of supporting children as they develop through each stage of development. However, she does not have a clear understanding of the early years foundation stage or the expected stages of development for each area of learning. This means she cannot plan and implement an effective curriculum to promote children's good progress. n The property is spacious and secure with a large garden area. The childminder keeps the gate locked to provide a suitable space for children to play. n The childminder is aware of what documentation needs to be in place in order for her to operate and care for children safely. However, she could not provide proof of public liability insurance. n The childminder demonstrated a good understanding of fundamental British values. She recognises the importance of ensuring that children are taught

respect and tolerance for each other as well as to share, take turns and treat others as they would wish to be treated.
p.2
This provision does not meet requirements
There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
