The staff support the young person effectively to make exceptional educational progress. When the young person arrived at the home, she had not been participating in education for some time. She is now confidently attending college, has gained her qualifications and has applied successfully to gain a place at the university of her choice. To encourage her to attend college, the staff enrolled on the same course and, as she gradually gained confidence, the staff reduced their attendance until the young person felt able to attend alone and make friends with her peers.
