This provision does not meet requirements

n Safeguarding is not effective. The childminder knows a range of signs and symptoms that may indicate that a child is experiencing abuse or may be at risk of harm. She is clear about what to do if an allegation is made against her. However, the childminder does not have suitable knowledge and understanding of the 'Prevent' duty guidance. Policies and procedures in place are out of date and do not include all of the required information as set out in the early years foundation stage requirements. n The childminder has failed to keep her knowledge up to date and in line with changes to the requirements within the early years foundation stage and inspection guidance and legislation. n The childminder is not clear about the process she would follow for handling complaints or the early years foundation stage requirements surrounding this. This is a breach in requirements and does not ensure that complaints are

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
