Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 6 January 2022, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We suspended the provider's registration on 6 January 2022 because we believe children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider had a right to appeal against their suspension. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 10 January 2022 we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The provider responded to the actions set. We found the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of child protection procedures and now fully understands her responsibilities. We found the provider has improved her understanding of ensuring the suitability anyone coming into contact with children. We found the provider has improved her understanding of ensuring that adults were not under the influence of alcohol or other substances where children are being cared for.

p.1

Summary of outcome

Despite the above response, we remained concerned about the provider's suitability to remain registered with Ofsted. We took steps to cancel the provider's registration. The provider had the opportunity to object to this decision but did not do so. The provider's registration was cancelled on 18 May 2022. The provider is no longer registered.
