This provision does not meet requirements

n The childminder has not kept her premises safe for children. For example, both the kitchen and garden have risks and hazards accessible to children. n The childminder has completed online safeguarding training to keep her knowledge current. She maintains her paediatric first-aid qualification to ensure that her knowledge is up to date, and she knows what to do in an emergency. However, she has not pursued other professional development to keep up to date with changes to statutory documents and guidance. n The childminder will work with parents to decide how to support children's learning and to help them achieve their next steps. When children first start, she will observe them to find out what they know and can do. She will use this information to inform her curriculum and help sequence learning for children. However, the childminder is less clear about how she will accurately assess children's ongoing development to identify any gaps in their learning.

27 June 2022 There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
