This provision does not meet requirements

n The childminder does not hold a current paediatric first-aid certificate. This means that she does not have an up-to-date knowledge of how to care for children should minor accidents occur. She also has not maintained the appropriate insurance to cover her premises, such as public liability insurance. n The childminder understands the importance of getting to know children, building good relationships with them, and helping children to feel confident and happy in her home. She explains how she would work in partnership with parents, to help provide a consistent approach for children. The childminder understands how to assess and plan for children's development needs, setting out her home with activities and resources to challenge them and help them progress. n The childminder has suitable safeguarding knowledge and has appropriate processes to follow if she has concerns about a child. She discusses her risk

assessments, including her procedures for taking children on outings. She explains her arrangements for supporting children's safe and kind behaviour, and helping them learn how to share, take turns and play cooperatively with each other. n The childminder appreciates the importance of supporting children's physical development. She discusses helping them to lead healthy lifestyles, promoting their good hygiene and healthy food choices. She has plans for providing children with regular opportunities to be active and learn about the natural world, in her garden, at local parks and visiting nature reserves.

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
