n Leaders follow effective recruitment procedures. This ensures that staff are suitable to work with children and clear about their roles. Prior to each club operating, staff complete various training packages. This helps them to familiarise themselves with policies and procedures. Staffing arrangements are well organised so that more experienced staff can support those who have less experience. This ensures that the setting operates smoothly and children are provided with excellent levels of care. n Staff promote children's healthy lifestyles well. The superb facilities enable children to have a wide range of opportunities to be physically active both indoors and outdoors. Staff encourage children to select healthy items from their packed meal for a healthy mid-morning snack. need to do better?
14 April 2022 resources are readily available to children. n Parents are very happy with the service provided. They comment that the staff are 'friendly and attentive'. Parents say that their children are keen to attend and want to come back again. They receive good communication from staff about their child's day. Parents are reassured that the organisation and security of the setting are good, to support children's safety. n Staff complete effective risk assessments to ensure that the environment is safe. It is recognised that some activities are more risky than others. Staff receive specialist training for these types of activities, such as using go-karts. Children learn to keep themselves safe when they put on protective safety wear and listen attentively to the safety rules.

Safeguarding
The arrangements for safeguarding are effective.
p.3
Safeguarding
There are clear systems in place to ensure all staff complete safeguarding training prior to working at the setting. This means that staff know possible signs that a child may be at risk and understand the correct procedures they should follow. This supports children's safety and welfare. Children learn to keep themselves safe. For example, staff gently remind them to remain seated while eating, to prevent the risk of choking. Leaders have recently reviewed the medication policy to further support children's safety within the setting.
