This provision does not meet requirements

n The childminder understands her responsibility to keep children safe. She knows how to recognise indicators that a child may be at risk of harm. The childminder knows the correct procedures to refer any concerns to external agencies about a child's welfare. She has a current paediatric first-aid certificate. n The childminder does not keep up to date with changes to legal requirements, including updates to the educational programmes within the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. This means that she is not aware of the guidance on what is expected from the educational programmes and how to ensure understanding of what children need to learn. n The childminder is not aware of the requirement to provide parents with a short written summary of their child's development when they are aged between two and three years. This is a breach of requirements. n The childminder knows the importance of sharing information with parents to

This has an impact on how well she is able to meet children's individual learning needs. n The childminder understands the need to identify delays in children's development. She knows where she can seek advice and support from if there are gaps in children's learning. The childminder is confident that she can support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. For example, the childminder supports children to develop a sense of right and wrong when children struggle with their behaviour. n The childminder provides opportunities for physical development. Children have access to the facilities in her garden and the local park. She recognises the positive impact exercise has on children's health and well-being. n The childminder understands the need to implement good hygiene practises to ensure that the personal needs of children are met appropriately. She provides a comfortable setting that will enable children to be happy and safe.

This provision does not meet requirements

29 April 2022 There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
