Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 8 March 2022, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 28 March 2022, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions, raised at their last inspection. We found the provider had met some of the safeguarding and welfare actions but not others.

p.1

Summary of outcome

Staff and managers are now confident in following effective e-safety procedures. They know the mobile phone and e-safety policy and have clear procedures in place for reviewing CCTV footage. Staff are clear on the procedures they need to follow for ensuring the premises are safe, secure and hygienic throughout the day. The manager has improved her recruitment processes and has more rigorous procedures in place for interviews and checking staff's suitability. Staff confirm they feel supported in their work, have regular meetings and attend training that has improved aspects of practice, including the support they give the children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Children now have access to water at all times and nappy changing procedures meet children's needs. The manager has updated committee members on their role and responsibilities in responding to complaints in line with the setting's procedure.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We have served another welfare requirements notice for the actions that were not met. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
