This provision meets requirements

n The childminder demonstrates a positive attitude to further improving her practice and enhancing her knowledge. For example, she attended training to find out about the revised early years foundation stage framework and this has helped her to plan the curriculum. She conducts her own research and reading to keep up to date with developments in education. n The childminder has a secure knowledge of the different areas of learning. Through discussion, she describes opportunities that she provides to support children's physical development. For instance, to support children's large-muscle skills, she ensures children have access to play equipment to help them to learn to climb up steps. To support children's small-muscle skills, she provides opportunities for them to learn to pick up items between their thumb and finger during their play. n The childminder ensures that her premises are safe and suitable for children

This provision meets requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
