n The childminder has not kept her knowledge of how to safeguard children up to date. She does not know the types of possible abuse children might experience, the indicators of being exposed to extremist views or about practices, such as female genital mutilation. This compromises her ability to safeguard children. n The childminder helps children to learn about oral health by supporting them to brush their teeth. However, the childminder provides children with sweets, crisps, juice, and lollipops. This does not support children's health and their understanding of how to live a healthy lifestyle. n The childminder describes how she is kind and friendly towards children. She speaks about the children she has cared for with great affection. The childminder talks about how she will develop a good relationship with parents and will offer flexibility in her hours of operation, to support children's welfare

p.2

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
