Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 24 February 2022, the provider notified us that an allegation had been made against a member of staff. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of allegations made against members of staff.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 22 March 2022 and 5 April 2022, we completed regulatory telephone calls with the provider to discuss the notification. We found that the provider was not meeting one of the requirements. The provider had not notified the local authority designated officer of the allegation to seek their advice before starting an internal investigation. We have issued an action for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
n ensure that leaders are aware of the correct procedures for notifying agencies of any concerns about children safety and welfare.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 21 April 2022, the provider responded to the action set. We found that the provider had implemented training with the nursery manager and deputy manager, to ensure that they understand the requirements to inform agencies of any allegations within 24 hours of an allegation being made, and to consult with them prior to any investigation taking place. The leadership team have also been forwarded written guidance on this and reporting complaints to Ofsted.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare action raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
