Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 14 September 2021, we received concerns that the childminder was not meeting some of these requirements. The childminder notified us that she no longer had an address from which she could provide childminding. The notification means that the childminder met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which may affect their suitability. However, Ofsted had already identified other concerns, in particular that the childminder had failed to ensure required information was supplied to Ofsted to determine the suitability of a household member.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 19 November 2021, we carried out a regulatory call and on 8 December 2021, we wrote to the childminder. We had also written to the childminder to remind her to return the required information on two previous occasions. The childminder failed to ensure that Ofsted was provided with the information required to determine the suitability of the household member. The childminder also failed to provide Ofsted with a suitable address from which she could provide childminding. This means that she no longer meets the requirements for registration as a childminder.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We took steps to cancel the provider's registration. The childminder has not appealed to the independent external tribunal, the Health, Education and Social Care First-tier Tribunal, and the provider's registration is therefore cancelled.
