Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 22 February 2022, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements. We have also served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions within the timescales set out in the report. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 8 March 2022, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection and set out in the welfare requirements notice.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We found that the provider had taken steps to improve staff deployment. With additional staff, the provider has been able to take immediate steps to evaluate strengths and weaknesses within the provision. The provider and manager have started to provide feedback to staff and hold meetings to help coach and improve the quality of care and learning that children receive. Changes have been made to the way that staff are deployed within the nursery. Staff have been assigned to work directly with key groups of children, to help ensure that the key person system can more effectively plan for and meet individual children's needs. The provider and manager have taken prompt action to work with local partners in establishing their role in safeguarding children. Designated safeguarding lead practitioners have received suitable training and support.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
