The provision is outstanding

Children are enthusiastic learners who love coming to the warm and homely environment created by the childminder. Children's interests and happiness are at the core of every decision the childminder makes. Children become engrossed in activities, especially during craft and creativity play. Children radiate confidence, explaining to the childminder how to draw 'Peppa Pig' on the fairy wings they are creating. Children show their caring nature as they suggest the childminder makes a set for their friends who attends the next day, ready to wear them on their trip to the woods. The children rapidly develop their scissor skills and pencil grip while embedding their knowledge of number, colour, and shapes.

Children know what they need to wear outside and persevere to put on their coats, shoes, and gloves. Children use their knowledge of familiar routines during play. For example, children help a doll get to the potty quickly and exclaim 'Quick she needs a poo!'. They remind the childminder it is important to wash their hands after going to the toilet to get rid of any germs.
