This provision does not meet requirements

n The childminder does not hold a current paediatric first-aid certificate. This is a breach of requirements. At the time of the inspection, she had booked training and was expecting to complete this very soon. n The childminder understands what to consider when planning her curriculum. In particular, she knows the importance of supporting children's communication and language development, for example, through talking to them, reading stories, and singing songs and rhymes. She understands how to plan activities to support different ages of children. n The childminder knows how to support children's behaviour appropriately. This includes using different strategies, to help children resolve conflicts and learn how to share and take turns. n The childminder understands the importance of working in partnership with parents and any other settings children attend. She is aware that sharing information promotes continuity in meeting children's care and learning needs.

p.2

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
