This provision does not meet requirements

n The childminder's knowledge of safeguarding is limited. She can recognise some of the signs and symptoms that a child may be at risk of harm. However, she is unsure of the procedures to follow should there be a concern about a child's welfare. n The childminder does not know who she would report to in the event of an allegation being made against her or a household member. She is not up to date with current child protection legislation. n The childminder describes how she will plan a broad curriculum. She will provide activities that build on what children already know, and what they need to learn, to help prepare them for the next stages in their development. n The childminder understands the importance of providing a welcoming environment. She plans to build strong attachments with children, to help them feel happy and secure and support their emotional development. n The childminder knows the value of working in partnership with parents, other

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
