Summary of outcome
Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
p.1
Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early year's foundation stage', which you can find at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework
p.1
Summary of outcome
If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 9 June 2021, the provider notified us of a significant event. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of significant events.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 11 June 2021, we suspended the provider's registration because we believed children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for an assessment into the grounds that give rise to our belief that children may be exposed to a risk of harm; for other agencies with safeguarding responsibilities to conduct their investigations and for any necessary steps to be taken to eliminate or reduce the risk of harm. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On the 29 June 2021, we carried out a regulatory visit to the childminder. We found that the childminder accepted that improvements were necessary this included reconsidering her understanding of the space requirements for registration, improving safeguarding knowledge and systems for communication with parents.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 6 July 2021, we lifted the suspension because the provider took appropriate action to bring about the necessary improvements and remove the identified risk to children.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 16 February 2022, we received confirmation from all agencies that there are no safeguarding concerns in relation to initial concerns identified.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider will be able to give you more information. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
