p.1

This provision does not meet requirements

n Since her last inspection, the childminder has completed a paediatric first-aid course. However, she has since let this certificate expire and has not renewed it. This is the second inspection where the childminder has breached this requirement of registration. n The childminder demonstrates a good understanding, through discussion, of the learning and development requirements of the early years foundation stage. She shows she understands how to plan activities that are suitable for children related to their age and stage of development. n The childminder shows, through discussion, that she understands the importance of regular communication with children's parents. The childminder shares she will also communicate with other settings children attend, to ensure there is a flow of information between all settings caring for children. This supports a collaborative approach to all those caring for children.

p.2

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
