Information about this children’s home
This is a new home registered with Ofsted in November 2020. The home can provide care for up to four children who have social, emotional and behavioural needs. The home predominantly cares for children who have been sexually exploited. At the time of the inspection, there were three children living in the home.
p.1
Information about this children’s home
The home has experienced some changes in management. The previous manager was in post between November 2020 and July 2021, before being promoted to responsible individual for the home. The deputy manager was successfully appointed as the manager of the home at the same time and applied to register with Ofsted shortly afterwards. Therefore, the home has continued to be managed by managers who are familiar with the home.

p.4
The effectiveness of leaders and managers: good
Managers and senior leaders have managed the impact of COVID-19 well. The managers commented on the care staff have taken, both when working in the home and in their personal lives, to reduce the risks to themselves and, therefore, reduce the risk to the children and the impact on the home.

The effectiveness of leaders and managers: good
The manager has good oversight of the care needs of the children and routinely looks for and captures patterns in behaviour or concerns to better understand and support the child. However, children’s records do not provide sufficient detail in how to care for the child or reflect the practice observed by the inspector.
p.5
