This provision does not meet requirements

n The childminder has breached several of the safeguarding and welfare requirements. This has a significant impact on children's safety. For example, she is unaware of the potential signs of different types of abuse, such as county lines and exploitation. The childminder does not know the correct procedures to follow if she has concerns about children's welfare or in the event an allegation is made against her. In addition, the childminder failed to notify Ofsted of a number of significant events, which could affect her suitability to work with children. This is a breach of the requirements of her registration. n The childminder does not understand her role or responsibilities to care for young children. She does not have the appropriate skills or knowledge to offer quality learning and development experiences that continually improve. In addition, the childminder does not appear to demonstrate the capacity to

improve without intervention from Ofsted. Several breaches to the statutory requirements have been identified, including some which have been identified previously. Therefore, Ofsted have taken enforcement action. n The childminder does not have a secure knowledge or understanding of how to help children develop foundations for their communication and language skills; personal, social and emotional skills and their physical development. She is unable to provide children with a balanced, challenging curriculum across every area of their learning. n The childminder is aware of the requirement to complete a written summary of children's progress when they are aged between two and three years. She knows this should be shared with children's parents. However, the childminder does not know how to use the assessment to identify and tackle areas of concern in children's development. n The childminder is aware of how to minimise infection and the spread of the

COVID-19 virus. For instance, she has procedures to follow to help children practise good hygiene and will ensure children do not attend the setting if they display symptoms. She is aware of the importance of building good partnerships with parents to promote continuity for children. For example, to provide consistent behaviour strategies which help children understand rules and boundaries.

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
