Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 8 October 2021 we received a notification from the provider that indicated that they were not meeting some of these requirements. On 25 January 2022, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider has improved their risk assessment and procedures for managing the regular outings they do to ensure children are safe. This includes regular head counts of children and working to higher than required staff to child ratios during the outdoor activities in the woods. The provider has improved how they keep records of key policies to ensure the needs of all children are met. They now share information with parents so they know about the procedures staff will follow in the event of a child going missing.
p.1
Summary of outcome
Following an incident, the provider had failed to notify Ofsted of a significant event, which is a requirement of their registration. The interim manager does have a clear understanding about what needs to be notified to Ofsted.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
