All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

Summary of outcome
On 6 January 2022, we carried out a monitoring visit to the provider. We found that the provider had improved their staffing arrangements to ensure children needs are met. The risk assessment in relation to the dogs is robust and understood by staff. Staff had received one to one coaching and training to enable them to support children's behaviour in a positive and supportive way. The staff had gained a better knowledge and understanding of child protection procedures and understand their legal responsibilities, particularly in regard to allegations against staff or adults on the premises.
