Summary of outcome
On 8 December 2021, the manager notified us that an allegation of harm had been made. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage' to notify Ofsted of any allegations of serious harm or abuse by any person living, working, or looking after children at the premises. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We liaised with agencies from the local children's safeguarding partnerships and carried out an announced visit on 10 December 2021. We found that appropriate action had been taken to safeguard children while the allegation was investigated. The investigation concluded the allegation was unsubstantiated. No further action in relation to this allegation will be taken.
p.1
Summary of outcome
Although it was not part of the notification, at the visit the inspector found that the system for recording children's attendance, their hours of arrival and departure and key person, was at times, not always completed fully. It was also not robust in identifying which staff were looking after children, at which times. We have issued a notice of action to improve, requiring the provider to take the action below within the timescales set out:
p.1
Summary of outcome
improve the daily system for recording the names of the children being cared for on the premises to ensure these are accurate with which rooms the children are in, arrival and departure times and which staff are caring for the children by 20 December 2021.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The inspector also found that Ofsted had not been notified of staff leaving and no longer working on the premises. This is an offence. The provider is aware of their responsibility to inform us and this was an oversight. We are not taking any action in relation to this offence on this occasion. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
