This provision does not meet requirements

n The childminder does not demonstrate a secure understanding of safeguarding. She does not know the correct procedures to follow to report any concerns she may have about a child or in the event of an allegation being made. In addition, the childminder does not have a good knowledge of wider safeguarding issues, such as the 'Prevent' duty guidance. This puts children's welfare at risk. n The childminder does not have a good knowledge and understanding of child development and how children learn. She does not know how to use information to plan experiences that are tailored to meet each child's learning needs. n The childminder does not demonstrate a clear understanding of how to manage children's behaviour in an appropriate way. n The childminder explains how she would make sure children learn about keeping healthy, such as eating well and regular exercise. She follows appropriate hygiene procedures and knows how to help children understand them.

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
