n The childminder has not addressed some of the actions raised at the previous inspections. She does not demonstrate the capacity to make the required improvements to meet the requirements of the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage' (EYFS). As a result, this could significantly impact on children's safety and welfare. n The childminder demonstrates some knowledge of activities that may support children's physical development. challenging activities to meet each child's individual needs. This has a significant impact on children's learning and development. For instance, her focus is to 'do things in groups so they can be with other kids', with no clarification on what activities she would provide or understanding of how children learn and develop in this area. n The childminder does not understand how to manage children's behaviour effectively. She does not have clear rules and boundaries in place for children to follow. This means that children may not understand what is expected of them and their behaviour. n The childminder does not make effective use of professional development opportunities. She attends training and receives support from the local authority, yet she is unable to discuss what she has learned from this and how she will develop her practice. n The childminder does not demonstrate a sufficient understanding of signs and

symptoms that children may be at risk of abuse. She does not know the correct procedure to follow if she had a concern about a child and their well-being. Her understanding of the wider aspects of safeguarding, such as the 'Prevent' duty, is limited.
p.2
This provision does not meet requirements
There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
