This provision meets requirements

n Through discussion, the childminder demonstrates how she will consider each child's individual interests and stage of development. The childminder discusses how she will assess children and then use this knowledge to plan activities to support their progress. She understands the importance of working with parents. For example, the childminder intends to share children's assessments regularly with parents, to provide consistency of care and learning for children. n The childminder understands her responsibilities to safeguard children in her care. She knows the correct procedures to follow if she has concerns about a child's welfare and can identify the possible indicators of abuse. The childminder has recently updated her safeguarding training and knows what to do if she has child protection concerns. She describes how she will complete regular fire drills with children, to help to keep them safe.

This provision meets requirements

There were no children present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
