Children thrive in the challenging and inspirational environment, passionately created by the childminder. The childminder and her assistants provide a calm and nurturing home-from-home setting. As a result, children settle extremely quickly and demonstrate they are happy and secure. They have incredibly strong bonds with the childminder and her assistants, who promote their personal, social, and emotional development in abundance. The adults are excellent role models and have high expectations for children's behaviour. They skilfully support children to understand their emotions. n The quality of education provided by the childminder and her assistants is excellent. They are highly skilled in understanding how children learn and provide a rich variety of first-hand experiences. They follow children's interests and cleverly build on their existing knowledge and skills. For example, children's understanding of the world around them is increased as they excitedly watch a snail crawl, retract inside the shell, and feel the rain on their hands and faces. All children are making rapid progress, including those who require extra support. They are exceptionally well prepared for future learning and the subsequent move to school. n The childminder and her dedicated team are committed to providing high-quality care and learning for all children. The childminder has exemplary systems in place to monitor staff practice, identify areas for improvement and address any training needs.
