Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 23 July 2021, the provider notified us of an incident that occurred at the setting. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of the early years provider or any person who cares for, or is in regular contact with, children on the premises.

On 30 July 2021 we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider had reviewed and improved the child supervision procedure when children are visiting the bathroom. We also found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted. We have issued actions for the provider to take. Actions needed by 13 August 2021:

On 5 August 2021 the provider responded to the actions set. We found that the provider has taken prompt and effective action, including confirming that staff-child ratios are maintained and that staff deployment ensures children are well supervised at all times. Accident forms have been changed and include more detailed information, such as signs and symptoms to look out for and when to inform parents about an accident. In addition, information leaflets relating to head injuries are now available. The accident form also includes any changes made to the environment following an accident. The risk assessment procedure includes the regular review of accidents and areas of concern.
