Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2.
p.1
Summary of outcome
If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 28 June 2021 we received a notification from this provider about an incident that occurred at the setting relating to the supervision of children. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 1 July 2021, we carried out a regulatory visit to look into the matters regarding this notification. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. During the visit we found the provider had taken prompt and appropriate steps to ensure the premises are safe and children are appropriately supervised at all times. We were satisfied with the actions taken by the provider to rectify the breaches of the welfare requirements and therefore it was not necessary for Ofsted to take any further action in relation to this matter.
p.1
Summary of outcome
At this visit, we also checked whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection. The provider responded to the actions that had been set at the inspection. We found that the provider had ensured staff deployment is effective to supervise children appropriately. They put effective supervision arrangements in place to help support staff and improve their practice. The provider also ensured that all staff improved their knowledge and understanding of the nursery's policies and procedures, especially if they have a concern about a member of staff, including leaders. They now fully understand their responsibilities. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
