Summary of outcome
Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
p.1
Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 27 May 2021 we received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. On 25 June 2021, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements. We also served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 8 July 2021 we carried out a regulatory telephone call to monitor compliance with the welfare requirements notice. We also made an unannounced visit to the setting on 26 July 2021. We found that the provider ensures that staff: child ratios are met and the manager or a named deputy is present, as required, when the setting is in operation. The provider has improved risk assessments to assure the safety of children. The provider has taken appropriate steps to strengthen staff supervision and to ensure staff understand the setting's policies and procedures in relation to allegations and in relation to behaviour management. We are satisfied that the provider has met the actions set in the welfare requirements notice. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
