p.2
Summary of outcome
On 11 May 2021, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider had introduced more robust recruitment and induction processes for staff. She had obtained DBS checks for all staff who she is continuing to employ. The provider has identified a staff member to deputise in her absence and has plans to deploy staff appropriately. The provider and staff have undertaken safeguarding training and have improved their knowledge and understanding of safeguarding. The provider has made plans for how she will provide supervision sessions and appropriate training for staff. She has a clearer understanding of her responsibilities under the Data Protection Act 1998 and has also communicated this to her staff.
p.2
Summary of outcome
We were satisfied with the action raised. We have now lifted the suspension because the provider took appropriate action to deal with the matter that led to the suspension and we are satisfied that there is now no risk of harm to children. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
