Summary of outcome
Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
p.1
Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 22 December 2021, the provider notified us of an event that affected the suitability of a person working with children. This notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any event likely to affect the suitability of a person living or working on the premises. On 21 January 2021 and 26 January 2021 we carried out regulatory telephone calls to the provider. We found that found the provider was not meeting some other requirements. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We have served a welfare requirements notice.
p.1
Summary of outcome
Ensure that you have systems in place to respond effectively to any information that may affect the suitability of any person working or having contact with children
p.1
Summary of outcome
Ensure that all persons with designated responsibility for child protection understand and can implement procedures to report information that might affect the suitability of persons working with children to relevant agencies without delay
p.1
Summary of outcome
Take all reasonable steps to ensure staff and children are not exposed to risks that may arise from staff suitability issues
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider wrote to Ofsted on 26 February 2021 providing a thorough response detailing action they had taken to meet the notices served. On 17 March 2021 we carried out a regulatory video call. The focus of the call was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions served. We found that the prover had improved manager and staff understanding of matters that may affect the suitability of persons working with children. They had implemented thorough risk assessments to manage any suitability issues that may arise and improved procedures for reporting information to agencies with statutory responsibilities, including the designated officer for the local authority and Ofsted.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
p.2
