Summary of outcome
Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
p.1
Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 14 December 2020, the provider notified us that a child had left the setting unnoticed by staff. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of a significant event.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 17 December 2020, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. The provider has taken some action to put this right. They have carried out an investigation and put measures in place to reduce the risk of this happening again, such as developing more robust risk assessments, supplying staff with appropriate guidance and training and following their disciplinary procedure. We have issued an action for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
p.1
Summary of outcome
n ensure that records are maintained accurately and include all relevant information to share with parents and Ofsted to enable the safe and efficient management of the setting.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We will monitor the provider's response to ensure the action are successfully completed.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We have found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of maintaining accurate records and now fully understands their responsibilities. Incidents are recorded accurately and in a timely manner, including a chronology of events and communication to share with parents and Ofsted.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare action raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
