On 2 December 2020, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have served a welfare requirements notice. On 4 January 2021 we monitored the provider's compliance with the welfare requirement notice. We found that all staff have received updated safeguarding training, including in- house training covering the revised safeguarding policy. The lead member of staff for safeguarding has also received updated designated safeguarding lead training. The provider and manager demonstrated a suitable knowledge of their role in safeguarding children and how they monitor staff's ongoing understanding of safeguarding also. The provider has implemented a new system for the supervision of staff with a greater focus on identifying and providing support for sustained improvement. We are satisfied with the action taken by the provider. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
