Summary of outcome

Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

p.1

Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 29 April 2019 we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be requires improvement. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was asked to take to meet the requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 7 October 2020, while routine inspections were suspended, we carried out an interim visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare action raised at their last inspection. We found that the provider has consistently maintained records of children's daily arrival and departure times. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare action raised.

p.1

Summary of outcome

Additionally, during the visit, we found a new area of concern. This means that the provider was not meeting another requirement as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage.

p.1

Summary of outcome

In relation to the new area of concern, we have issued an action for the provider to take. A notice to improve requires the provider to take the action below within the timescale set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

p.1

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied that the provider has taken appropriate action to make a daily risk assessment of the premises and remove all potential hazards to children. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
