Summary of outcome
Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
p.1
Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 20 November 2019, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be not met. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was asked to take to meet the requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 5 November 2020, while routine inspections were suspended, we carried out an interim visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions, raised at their last inspection.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We found that the provider is aware of their duty to provide Ofsted with all the information they require regarding committee members. This ensures that vetting and suitability checks are completed in a timely way. Staff have a secure understanding of child protection issues and wider safeguarding concerns, including the 'Prevent' duty. Staff ensure that the supervision of children is effective and that children are always within sight and sound of staff. This helps to keep children safe. The provider ensures that staff are provided with appropriate support to develop their knowledge and skills. This means that staff fulfil their roles and responsibilities well. The key-person system is effective. Consistent staff work with younger children and know them well. Staff provide a wide range of activities that are tailored to meet children's needs and interests. Children are happy and settled. They are
