Summary of outcome
Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
p.1
Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 25 July 2019, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be requires improvement. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was asked to take to meet the requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 12 November 2020, while routine inspections were suspended, we carried out an interim visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions, raised at their last inspection.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We found that the provider has taken action to ensure children can safely play in her garden. The provider has made the trampoline and the steps to climb up to the trampoline inaccessible and made the rotary washing line safe. The provider undertakes daily risk assessments of the garden prior to this area being used by the children. The provider accessed support from her local early years adviser from the local authority. Through discussions with her adviser and accessing training courses, the provider has reviewed the organisation of outdoor activities to help include the best possible learning opportunities for babies and developed the quality of teaching. She has, for example, undertaken training to better support her understanding of children's natural curiosity to learn.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
