Summary of outcome

Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

Summary of outcome

On 15 October 2020, while routine inspections were suspended, we carried out an interim visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions, raised at their last inspection.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We found that the provider has taken steps to improve the safe and efficient management of the setting. This is with specific reference to the setting's procedures for recording all accidents involving children and recording all medication administered to the children who attend. Records have been reviewed and revised to ensure they include the relevant information to meet the requirements. Senior staff have guided staff at all levels to ensure they are fully aware of the changes implemented in relation to recording all accidents involving children and the administration of medication to children. The provider has increased her procedures for monitoring records of accidents involving children and medication administered to children.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare action raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.
