Summary of outcome
Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
p.1
Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 03 November 2020, the provider notified us of a safeguarding concern. We needed to look into this matter to see whether the setting was meeting the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage relating to safeguarding and welfare requirements. We look into the information we receive to see if the childcare provider is meeting all legal requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 12 November 2020 we carried out an announced visit to the premises. We found that the provider had not followed the correct safeguarding procedures. Furthermore, we found that the provider had failed to notify parents in matters relating to their child in a timely manner. Although not part of the original concern, we also found that the provider does not have effective performance management sessions in place for staff.
p.1
Summary of outcome
Following our visit, we sent the provider a notice of action to improve that asks the provider to: -
