Summary of outcome
Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
p.1
Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the¿ Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 14 January 2020, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be requires improvement. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was asked to take to meet the requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 16 November 2020, while routine inspections were suspended, we carried out an interim visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions, raised at their last inspection.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We found that the provider has revised the behaviour management policy. Staff's knowledge and understanding of how to manage children's behaviour in appropriate and consistent ways has improved. They have improved the way in which accidents are recorded, monitored and reported to parents. All staff are supported by the management team effectively. They are offered regular supervision sessions, training and ongoing support. This helps to enhance their confidence, knowledge, skills and understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Each child is assigned a key person. This ensures that every child's care is tailored to meet their individual needs. A revised communication arrangement enables a two-way flow of information between parents and the provision. This aids the sharing of key information to meet the needs of children. Furthermore, the good health of children is encouraged. Fresh drinking water is easily accessible to children throughout each session.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
