Summary of outcome
Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
p.1
Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 17 October 2019, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was asked to take to meet the requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 3 November 2020, while routine inspections were suspended, we carried out an interim visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions, raised at their last inspection.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We found that leadership and management have made effective changes to ensure that children are kept safe on the premises. They ensure that staff help children to learn about how to keep themselves safe. Risk assessments and staff's knowledge of health and safety legislation has been reviewed and improved. This means they ensure that the premises and outdoor spaces remain fit for purpose and suitable for the different ages of the children cared for. The staff now ensure they record information about medicines in a confidential manner. The arrangements for staff supervision have been developed to ensure that training needs are identified promptly. All staff now have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Communication with parents has been developed to ensure they are kept well informed about how they can support their child's learning at home.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
