Summary of outcome

Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills is leading Ofsted's work into how regulated early years and childcare providers in England have delivered child- centred practice and care, within the context of the restrictions placed on society during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

p.1

Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 14 May 2019, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be requires improvement. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was asked to take to meet the requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 10 November 2020, while routine inspections were suspended, we carried out an interim visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their previous inspection.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We found the provider had undertaken professional development opportunities, such as developing her knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework. She has increased the range of outdoor resources and made changes to the curriculum she provides, to further enhance the quality of education. The provider ensures that children have access to fresh drinking water. She also provides children with a range of healthy meals and snacks, which help to promote their good health.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at the previous inspection. However, we found that the provider has since failed to notify Ofsted of a significant event, which is a requirement of their registration. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
