Summary of outcome
On 30 October 2020, we carried out a regulatory visit to monitor the actions taken and we found that the provider has assessed risks and removed or minimised them to create a safer environment for children. She has checked the safety information on all cleaning fluids, changed some products to different ones and improved the storage of them to comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations. She has improved her knowledge and understanding of the guidance and procedures of her local statutory children's services agencies and Local Safeguarding Children Board. She has trained all her assistants to understand the safeguarding policy and procedures. There are now effective systems in place to ensure people looking after children are suitable for their role. These include informing Ofsted when employing a new assistant, so their suitability can be checked.
p.2
Summary of outcome
There are improved systems in place to ensure accurate records are kept. Suitable forms are ready for use to record accidents or injuries and to inform parents on the same day or as soon as practical. The required information is now available for each child. The provider checks that the attendance of children is accurately recorded. A suitable complaints procedure is available, and a log of complaints kept. Documents are stored confidentially but available to share with parents, carers and other agencies who have a right to see them. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
